One of the easiest way to increase your website traffic it so make sure you are listed in the major Search Engines. Google and Yahoo will probably find your site eventually, but to make sure they know you exist and that you have something someone is searching for, it helps to let them know.
Submit your sites to both Google and Yahoo just to remind them to come visit and index.
Even if your website is already in the search results, it doesn't hurt to add a sitemap to your website and resubmit that sitemap to the search engines. |

I’m trying out a new website concept. dotTV.
Instead of having a YouTube account, the idea is to have your very own web address to display videos. But, it’s more like mySpace or Facebook, since it’s a social network setting, with blog, photos, friends, and all the ‘latest’ crap.
Instead of an address like http://www.youtube.com/briantshea or http://www.myspace.com/briantshea, I can have www.totalbs.tv or www.7sages.tv.

We’ve been asked many times about how to get more traffic to your websites. There’s no easy or cheap solution.
A few simple things that can be done affordably is to add metatag descriptions and keywords. And have that description be closely related to the actual content on the page. Search engines want content. They love content. If you content is well written, and informative, the search engines may index you better. After all, they want their search results to give the user excellent info.
If you need help writing more “gooder” content for your website, contact us. We have excellent Copy Writers available to us. (I just don’t use them, so my content can be real badly riten.)
