I started a site to test the viability of a website of articles, with Google Ads on it. The site was actually pre-made for me. Someone had wrote a bunch of articles and put it together in a simple package to make it easy to manage. The site is about different addictions, at AddictionGuides.com.

I've been finding some confusion among people over Chat versus Forum.
It seems that some people use Chat room interchangeably with Forum and Bulletin Board. I guess it's due to discussions being done on a forum, which some might see as chatting.
In computer/Internet terms, chat is instant. Like Instant Messaging. It's transient. Like speaking on the phone, the words are gone once they leave your mouth. With a Chat Room, the text may stay visible for a minute, an hour, or a couple days, depending on how busy it is. But it is not lasting.

Don’t try to learn it all. Just browse thru and try a
few things on your own site. Get a feel for it.
There is so many options that it can be intimidating. But reading through the tutorials can help give a better grasp of the concepts. Once you get the basics down, most of the options and features start to come into focus. |
